CLASSES - DETAILS

HIIT, TABATA & MILITARY FIT

These are High Intensity Interval classes. A typical class will be structure by a variety of body weight, or light resistance exercises, in a circuit or timed format. The duration of these classes are between 45-60 mintues. They are great for building cardio, and muscular endurance, all while burning a whole lot of calories.

AIRDYNE ASSAULT

30 minutes of insanity. Short, sharp and super effective. The class is led by an ex-triathlon athlete, and is designed to train your entire body, as well as your cardio endurance. An Airdyne bike, requires both your arms and legs to pedal. The 30 mintues are broken down into high and low intensity intervals. If half an hour is all you have, then this is all you need.

BARBELL FIT

The Barbell Fit, is a High Intensity class utilizing a barbell. A lot of the exercises in the class will mimic the basic Olympic Weightlifting movements, such as the clean, and the overhead press. These otherwise complicated movements are broken down into beginner friendly parts, providing a high intensity workout for those who want to learn technique.

MUAY-THAI BODYFIT

A combination of Thai Kickboxing and a high intensity interval training. The instructor is an ex-competitive Thai kickboxer. If you are a beginner, he will first teach you the correct techniques, as your experience grows, so will the effectiveness of these workouts. This class has a great sense of community, due to the partnering nature of the class.


 

POWERLIFTING & WEIGHTLIFTING

POWERLIFTING

The Squat, the Bench Press and the Deadlift. The foundations of strength training. At TD we take great pride in having such an awesome barbell culture. Whether you're a beginner, or an elite level lifter, you'll feel right at home. You can either lift by yourself, meet and train with others in the gym, or join our "Barbell Coaching" program. WEIGHTLIFTING

The Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. Often regarded as the most athletic strength sport. All Training Day facilities cater for Olympic Weightlifters, whether you train by yourself, looking for other lifters to train with, or require some coaching from one of the best in the country, you will feel right at home.
