Imagine for all of your life you've seen one image, and someone tries to convince you that you're wrong.

Isn't that how most disagreements start?

We believe true strength is subordinating our own egos and urges to be right, instead, seeking to understand others first.

It takes strength to be truly empathetic, because we need to open ourselves up to the possibility of being wrong, or at least the chance for others to also be right.
