We are looking for Casual Personal Trainer (aka Club Trainer)

At Training Day, we believe that great coaching starts with great care. Our gyms are built around an amazing community with high standards and helping members feel supported from day one.

We’re excited to trial a new additional PT pathway, the Club Trainer role, designed for coaches who want to work in the gym without paying rent.

What is a Club Trainer?

A Club Trainer is a casual employee who delivers Initial Inductions and Complementary Consultations for our members, both new and existing.

You’ll have a consistent roster, be paid for these sessions with the potential to convert these members into ongoing clients. Without paying rent.

This role will allow you a professional, low risk way to coach in a fully equipped gym

About the role

  • Casual employment

  • Deliver Initial Inductions and Complementary Consult sessions

Responsibilities include

  • Deliver Initial Inductions and Complementary Consult sessions for Training Day members

  • Provide high-quality, welcoming, confidence-building first sessions

  • Identify member goals, barriers, and training needs, and provide a clear next-step plan

  • Maintain professional standards in communication, coaching, and follow-up

Professional skills and qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Fitness (equivalent or higher)

  • Working With Children Check (Employee)

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

  • Strong people and communication skills
