Have you seen our first mural?
If you've been to our Clayton gym, then you would've seen the painting of Goku holding 250kgs above his head:
But do you know where the inspiration for this mural came from?
TD's "Mural" culture started in 2013 like this.
We had a blackboard in our new lifting room at the time, and our team member Dave decided to draw Goku on it using a block of lifting chalk.
If you grew up in the 2000's (like most of our team back then), and remember watching Cheez TV, you'd remember this iconic image.
But instead of the "Spirit Bomb", Goku is holding a barbell.
Over the years our mural game improved, and now all done by the talented @daniellesarwork, we've even had Dwayne Johnson share one of our murals on his Instagram page (more on this story later).
But to give a nod to the original, we had Danielle paint Goku properly at our Clayton gym in 2018, paying homage to our first mural.

So we'll always remember where it started.
