Do you know why we called it Training Day?

"Training" is a term often only used by athletes competing in high level sports. We use it for a slightly different reason.

Regardless of what we do between nine to five, we all have to weave, duck and jump over the challenges life throws at us.

We believe just as an athlete uses training to bring out their best performance in their sport, all of us can use training to bring out our best performances in the sport of pursuing a fulfilling life.

By intentionally placing ourselves in positions of having to complete challenging tasks, often, is the best way to prepare to be in that position unintentionally. That's what the "Training" symbolizes in Training Day.

"Strong by Choice" is our motto, to us this means our strength is defined by our choices.

To help foster a strong community, every month we tell the story of one of our members via a short video series we call "Training Day People". To show how all of us with different walks of life, can choose to be strong by taking on the voluntary challenge of training.

We picked 3 for you to watch:

Mike - 83 years young, after beating an open heart surgery he still often rides 100kms a day. (link)

Xin - Young medical doctor, who's also a national level female Powerlifter. (link)

Val - An Operations Manager who's also a competitive bodybuilder. (link)

"Strength doesn't come from what you can do. Strength comes from overcoming the things you thought you couldn't."
